to the rock texture analysis group at the University of Göttingen
Our main focus is to study deformation fabrics in all scales to:
- decipher rock deformation and recrystallisation mechanisms and processes
- determine petrophysical properties
- develop new lab methods (in-situ deformation experiments in the neutron beam)
Our lab consists of a x-ray texture diffractometer, an optical texture stage, U-Stages, SEM and has access to neutron- and synchrotron diffractometers.
