Our main focus is to study deformation fabrics in all scales to:

decipher rock deformation and recrystallisation mechanisms and processes |

determine petrophysical properties |

|
develop new lab methods (in-situ deformation experiments in the neutron beam) |
Our lab consists of a x-ray texture diffractometer, an optical texture stage, U-Stages, SEM and has access to neutron- and synchrotron diffractometers.
